  1. The adapter is absolutely perfect, I have it ready to install in my 52 Cambridge. Have to get a new clutch and driveshaft for completion.
  2. Donald, Thanks for the info, like you said it won't be easy to come by, but at least it's another possibility.
  3. I've been told that there are Chrysler guys in the group. If any of you know whether Chrysler used 2 groove crank pulleys on some of their early 6 cyl flatheads. If anyone has one, that they wouldn't mind making a deal for, please let me know.. It has to work on a 218 ci flathead
  4. Hi folks, I'm getting ready to get a vintage air system for my 52 Cambridge. I was lucky enough to obtain some fantastic photos of bracket design and installation on another group site. Here is my delema, I need a 2 groove crankshaft pulley to make it work on my 218 flathead. Does anyone know what I can use, a manufacturing co., or where I can get one. Thanks in advance.... Michael

  6. Thanks Greg, now all I have to do is find one.
  7. I guess that's what I wanted to know, if I could bolt the shifter to the 52 tranny, thanks...

  9. I have a question about a 1970 mopar shifter supposedly fits A,B, and E body cars. Is it possible to get this shifter to work in my 52 Plymouth Cambridge with the original transmission?
  10. Thanks that would be fantastic, I'd love to know as much as possible about the old girl!
  11. That would be fantastic, I'd love to know more about the old girl
  12. Here's a few pics of my new old baby. The gentleman who sold it to me used it as an advertising draw In front of his window business. The green lettering on it is vinyl and will come off with a heat gun. I started to replace the complete braking system. The lines and MC have been completed, however I still want to change the wheel cylinders, I have replacements sitting in the trunk. There will be three more projects to complete as soon as the weather warms up. I work outside the garage, unfortunately there is no room inside it. 1) convert it to 12 volts 2) rewire the whole car 3) AC I have the parts to complete the first two. I need the AC because we're moving to Arizona.
  13. Harold, I have no idea on how to post pictures on here. I'd love to post zone for you. The car is a fun driver! If you can figure out what I have to do please let me know
  14. Thanks for the warning about the floor. I was planning to reinforce it where necessary prior to reinstalling the seat frame.
  15. Casper 50 thanks for the info. I wasn't sure if it was bolted or welded and it's been too cold to go out to the car. It seems like an easy fix. I'll fix the few cracks and paint it. Don Coatney I do know what you are talking about with loosing the leverage of the larger wheel, I had a 49 convertible and it was a bear to move the wheel when it was sitting still. I was thinking to possibly put in power steering.
