  1. Appears the main mounting bracket that would mount to the engine is missing, only brackets shown are the canister straps.
  2. I believe this is the door panel clip you might be looking for. https://www.macsautoparts.com/early_v8_ford_truck/ford-interior-upholstery-clip-brown-pickups-for-door-and-cowl-kick-panel-retainers-button-head-384469.html
  3. Scroll up there is a picture provided by Pflaming showing what you are asking about
  4. I don’t think by lowering the stance of the vehicle that you going to change the elevation relationship between the master cylinder and calipers unless, you stand the car on end of coarse. Disc brake pads will slightly rub the rotor at all time and some cheaper pads are noisier than others.
  5. Also make sure you have the master cylinder push rod the proper length. If it’s to tight and keeps any pressure on the master cylinder piston it will cause dragging when calipers and fluid starts to heat up.
  6. You’re best bet is let your machine shop remove and install the new guides. Be aware the intake and exhaust guides get installed in the opposite directions. Guides are all the same just installed differently.
  7. You need to install residual check valves anytime the master cylinder is lower than the wheel cylinders to keep brake fluid from gravity feeding back to the master cylinder. Use 2 lbs valves for disc and 10 lbs valves for drums
  8. Done a search of their store and seems the reproduction knobs looks identical to his NOS he’s sells tel:516 233 7788 comes back to the company previously posted about. 9. My 49 Dodge was registered using the engine number when I bought it, the original engine was still in it which made things simpler. When I registered the car in my name I was able to change registration to the serial number located inside the drivers door jamb. This was in Indiana don’t know what the situation might be in California. See you have no title could pose a few head aches, it I’m would think you could get a reassigned state issued number.
  10. P18 would be the engine number used in a 1949 Plymouth. P18 218ci Plymouth Car Plymouth 6 De Luxe and Special De Luxe 1949 See attached link below. http://www.t137.com/registry/help/otherengines/pengines.html
  11. Route your heater hose thru it, it helps warm the intake
  12. Hopefully it wasn't brake fluid. Brake fluid will cause the paint to raise almost like paint stripper. I might have a headlight switch knob
  13. Here's one I'm sure there's more. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Art-Deco-1920s-1930s-Styled-Chrome-License-Plate-Frame-Cadillac-Packard-Stutz/322934509423?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D41376%26meid%3D6059597130514c6b91af09bdd4db4f55%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D182940379591&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851

Let me rephrase my comment. I asked Earl what he recommended. I said I was keeping the engine basically stock and that I didn't want anything lumpy or anything that would effect idle. Earl recommended 260 duration @ .410 lift. .Earl said It's a mild cam but really wakes the engine up. He also refaced my tappets.

Don't know yet, just started reassembling yesterday. Earl said it wouldn't be lumpy, which I don't want anyways. He said it will just give a little gift up and go.

I just installed a reground cam that I sent off to Earl Edgerton. I'm doing a complete rebuild on my 230. He recommended 260 duration @ .410 lift. It's a mild cam but really wakes the engine up. He also refaced my tappets.
  19. Some of are made different I suppose.
  20. No need for a booster, just match master cylinder bore size of the application. Smaller bore size of MC requires less foot pressure at the pedal. Contact ECI Brakes they may be able steer you in the correct direction. http://www.ecihotrodbrakes.com/brake_facts.html
  21. I stopped in at Moores while on a motorcycle trip thru Rapid City a few years ago. The guy was a real jerk and rather insulting. I didn't hang around long because of his attitude.
