  1. Steering linkage on left side. Picture on right is the right side that is way too close. The left side with the steering arm is fine. the right side arm is not as straight as the left. The wheels are 8 lug 16 x 235's Thanks
  2. While rebuilding the front axle assembly we discovered the right front knuckle is bent or completely wrong. It scraps the wheel. Everybody helped me find the right spindle.. This truck has the 3000# front axle and is part of the Power Giant family. Does anyone know of a source for this part? I tried Vintage Power Wagon and they did not have anything. Thanks for the help as always. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

  4. Does anyone know where I could get radiator support bushings for a 1959 Dodge W-100 with a 230 engine? Thought someone might know of an alternative from some other vehicle that might fit. Thanks for the help Tmacc
  5. Anyone know where I can get a 1959 Dodge Truck wrap around rear window gasket ? Thanks for the help. I see the regular ones for sale.
  6. That worked great Handle pulled right out Thanks for the quick response
  7. Will check that out tomorrow and let you know Thanks
  8. I am in the process of stripping down a 1959 W100 cab for sandblasting and the only thing left to remove is the headlight switch. The knob is permanently mounted I see the replacement switches come without the knob so you must be able to remove the knob somehow. The mounting nut comes off but the knob needs to be removed. any suggestions greatly appreciated.
  9. Found out the truck did in fact have a ford bed. Fortunately I have another 59 Dodge truck with a good sweptline bed I can use. I may switch out the 6 for the 318, Thanks for the info.
  10. Thanks for the replies. I did get the truck running, still need to get brakes. got a new master cylinder to put on this weekend. Truck does have the original fenders and yes they interchange with the larger model trucks. Makes them very hard to find. The bed is original to the truck. Thanks again.
  11. Purchased a 1959 dodge w-100 6 months ago. Finally got a title for it. It has a 108" wheelbase, 3 spd on the column and wrap around rear window.engine is a 6-cyclinder. It has the sweptline style bed. Still trying to figure out where the gas tank was. It has the plug where the original tank was but very hard to figure where the tank was. Once I got the muddobbers out of the carb we were able to get the engine started briefly. Need to get a fuel pump. The clutch and brakes need work now. We were able to get the engine started this past this weekend. I currently drive a 1958 d-100. Any comments on the location of the gas tank greatly appreciated. Also does anyone know about the 3 speed column shifter, most power wagons seem to have floor shifters. ID plate shows a 3 speed warner. thanks for the help
