  2. @Marcel Backs in the picture containing the flexi fuel line it looks as though your hard line is touching the rad........is it?

  5. I buy these old beauties to “Work” on them what fun would an old car be if all you did is drive it? I want to reek of gas, grease and engine oil after a session of cussin’ and fussin’....lol. I’ll pass on the eau de huile pour d’engrenages brulee pourtant!
  6. Your car shouldn’t jerk at all....the fluid drive absorbs any mistakes.......you can actually put it in third and take off from a dead stop. I would take off the linkage at the tranny then remove the inspection plate then see if there is any damage like a bent shifter fork. Do not drive until you have figured it out.

  13. There are lots of parts on the parts list your car did not come with from the factory, those guards are a special order option and did not come on your car unless ordered that way...........
  14. Just don’t catch your cat on fire the garage might burn down.........
  15. Same location for a dodge 46-49, so I would guess it would be the same for you.
  16. My Gramps was born in 1911 and he was buried in his cracker jacks from WWII.
  17. I miss men wearing suits and hats, and women in dresses......nothing as pretty as a happy woman in a sun dress. My Gramps wore a suit and tie with a hat every day of his life and he looked spiffy too!?
  18. I don’t buy Monroe shocks, Fram filters, or Champion spark plugs......the day of these three entities having top notch products are long, long gone.
  19. I’ll bet berrymans carb cleaner would do the job.
