  1. I would think that grinding on a rim will affect the structural integrity, not to mention having to add too many balancing weights..I'd pass on that.
  2. Pictures could be better, but I like the idea of being able to put wider tires on the car.
  3. Thanks fellas, just got back from a quick trip to Chicago and Beloit. Good news got to take a quick peak at the Belvidere plant[jeeps] bad news, mother nature tried to put us in the ditch several times last night before we camped out at the Holiday inn for the evening. I should have known better than to head for Dodgeville with the snow and ice coming on...
  4. Besides cubic inches, are there any other differences between the the 2 engines, such as stroke or manifolds? Do the industrial mills have to be extensively modified in order to install in a passenger car? Thanks fellas!
  5. I don't mind a homemade roadster, but lose the wood caps...ruins the whole look. Bend some sheetmetal if you don't want to use your windows.
  6. It is no stranger than any of your posts Randroid, that cuda is maybe off topic, but it was posted as such....
  7. 88 Dodge Die Nasty, that Dynasty had more fuel delivery, electrical, and transmission problems than 1 car should have in a lifetime...traded it for a 69 New Yorker, simple systems, better car!
  8. Found a smaller truck, don't anyone will fit though.
  9. I finally found a Roadking, and a guy who looks like he might of had a few Grainbelts before he got behind the wheel:eek:
  10. I'm guessing your car isn't anywhere near original, or extra parts don't excite you anymore:D
  11. Realgonekatt, thanks for letting me jack a little bit of thread! Ed..Todd, thanks for the lesson.
  12. What does line reamed mean? And how does it apply to kingpins. It must be obvious that I have never rebuilt a front end before:eek:
  13. I know those are the big trucks, still looking for half tons.
