  1. And that is what I've been using......When Ed first posted the pics a long time ago I didn't have the that knowledge.
  2. Tornados suck...literally. Came out of the basement in 74, nothing left of the house but the plumbing on the first floor. Glad to hear Don and Lisa are good, hope you miss the bad weather all together. Good luck Timmy!
  3. I know about the R click now, didn't about 500 posts ago. It's all good! Thanks again, Frankie.
  4. Thanks Ed, You have posted this picture for me before, I didn't know how to save pictures then. Clinton has a mustang of this vintage, think of the whoopie he could have made in this one:eek:
  5. Young Ed, do you have anymore pictures of the Mustang wagon?
  6. How are you guys seeing phil's pictures, all I get are red x's....even tried refreshing it, no show:confused:
  7. Different tranny still grinding....maybe it's you, not the gears, if you don't get instant satisfaction, it seems old cars are not for you.
  8. So is 3.54 as low as you can go with a 3-spd fluid drive and stock engine, and still be able to climb a hill?
  9. I just happened to find a RARE mopar upper radiator hose collar at my local pet store, still in it's original packaging...I could probably start the bidding at around a grand on E-Bay, but Jim S. PM me and I'm sure we can work out something!
  10. I am not on dialup, on hi-speed internet, all I get is a 3/4 view from the back. I am talking about the second car posted not the 4-door.
  11. Where is the Full link, all I get is one picture?
  12. Hey, Greg..I have heard about 413 truck motors{hijack, sorry} can you give a specific details? Thats pretty big size...
  13. According to this site a 6 weighs more than a 350 by several 100 lbs. But you have to take in accordance the weight of the transmission that goes with the 440, A833 or 727 Torqueflite it's probably more. Stock springs probably won't cut it.
  14. Me too, You can get a stock cap this many years later?
  15. After seeing Robin's cards, I bet he knows how.
  16. Bob, didn't mean to be snappy, sorry. I do think they are wonderful stock, but I like a little wider hips:D
  17. When I was in my 20's it didn't bother me to jury rig things for what I thought was a long term solution, now that I am several years older..lol, I follow your point of view, when work is done on my cars or house or anything else it is done with the next person in mind. Pride in ownership, pride in your craft, it doesn't matter what the subject is but your single mindedness to do it right is what counts. Pass it on.
  18. I thought the p-15 was narrower than the d-24, seeing how nothing exchanges sheetmetal wise. So the rear axle is the same width?
  19. You gotta love those Doughboys! I wish we were still that in touch with patriotism.
  20. I hadda try:D It really does look nice the way it is:)
  21. When you read the whole thread instead of just looking at the pictures...there is an explanation, he wanted the rear fenders to match the width of the front fenders, thus making the car look uniform.
  22. Maybe the PO jammed the wrong plug in, metric or wrong amt of threads as a replacement?
  23. Nice...it's beggin' for a two tone paint scheme though.
