  1. All fixed. Actually easier than I expected. My 2 sons helped and the use of large glass suction cups helped a lot. Looks MUCH better.
  2. Now just sitting here thinking. I'm unable to get my wipers to function correctly when I put them down on the glass. Work fine until they hit the glass. To me it looks like the glass is sticking outside much further than it should being that the rubber is backwards. Wonder if this too is my wiper problem. Make sense?
  3. Here is a couple pictures of the outside.
  4. Mine doesn't look like that. I'll get a picture later today.
  5. Yep thats what I thought. Do you think I'll be able to save the rubber when I change it around?
  6. When I bought my 52 someone had already installed the front windshield with new rubber. The interior molding has never fit correctly. Looking at it I am now thingking the rubber winshield gasket is installed backwards. Is this possible? Could someone take a closeup picture of the exterior winshield of their truck?
  7. Ok that did the trick. Now just some fine tuning for the park feature. Seems to be a fine line for them to park or continuously run when the switch is turned off or stop immediately as soon as the switch is turned off.
  8. Can someone tell me, when the wipers are in the park position which way the arms face on the motor itself? Mine both face 7 o'clock, but that doesn't seem right. My drivers side wiper is in the horizontal and if I put passenger side in horizontal the first stroke of the wiper goes down off the winshield onto the cowl. Make sense?
  9. Haven't seen that one yet. Looks like it might help.
  10. So I am about finished with redoing my wiring harness. I am to the point of wiring the ignition switch. Pretty sure the switch isn't original. Has 4 posts on the back. ACC, Bat, IGN. These are the 3 outer posts. The center post says ST. Now the questions. 1...ACC Does this go to the positive side of the ammeter? Also the fuel gauge? And the end terminal of the headlight switch? 2...IGN Does this go to the coil? 3...BAT I assume to the positive side of the battery? 4...ST No idea what this is. Last question...the starter had a positive and neg. going to the battery off of the same post. Is this correct? Sorry if these sound like stupid questions. Just don't wanna ruin the work I've already done. Thanks for the help.
  11. Thanks guys. Looks like I'll be buying them from Roberts. Found 1 local shop that relines but the want 40 per shoe.
  12. Where are you buying your shoes. Unable to find them at any local auto stores. Good online source?
  13. I've searched everywhere I can think of. Fastenal said it is indeed 7/8-20 thread. For now I'm using a rubber plug.
