  1. Hi Again I replaced the Spring Inner Bushing ( Pressed in new one ) but was wondering if there is anything between the Tabs on the frame and the spring itself? It just dosn't look right.Seems to be alot of room between the frame tabs and each side of the spring. Do you just center the spring as you run the bolt through and keep it centered? Thanks again Bert [/i]
  2. Looked at search but didn't really come up with anything, still looking though Thanks Bert
  3. Does anybody have pics of front springs assembly? Putting back together front end Is there any bushings that go in the front of the front spring hanger? Pics of the front and rear of front spring hanger would be great. Thanks again Bert
  4. Hi guys Does anybody have pictures of the rear end and shocks and hangers without the box on?
  5. I am having problems bending the rear brake line to the two wheel cylinders It has an arc and a bend at each end to go to each cylinder. If I bend it first, I can't get the flaring tool on the line as there is not enough room for the flaring tool ( fitting is in the way ). If I flare it first then I can't get the bender in close enough as the fitting is in the way and the fitting won't go around the bend. Can I use Stainless Steel Braided line in its place or is there a trick to doing this bend for the rear brake line?? Thank for your help BERT
  6. Replaced brakes and bearings on front end of a 48 Fargo same as Dodge B1B Looking for PART NUMBER for Front DUST SEAL I hope somone can help Did a search on this site NOTHING There are no numbers on this seal Parts list numbers dodn't match anything NO luck so far THANKS BERT

  8. I got White Oak from my local lumber yard cost around 150 dollars 1 inch thick and will plane down to 3/4 inch Bert
  9. I have been looking at doing the wood on the bed of my 48 Fargo (close to B1B )and have 3 questions The angle strips were off the truck box sides 1) How do I measure where the angel strip are located on the box side from top of panel? I have no dimensions at all It looks like the box depth is 20inchs? some weld spots left I think it is the same as a Short Bed B1B 2) I am about to cut the wood Does the wood on the outer most sides of the box go right to the edge of the box side ( Completly under the angle strip)or does it go up to the bolts on the angle strips ( not comletly under the entire angle strips ) just half of the strip? Pictures would be great if any body has them 3) There are 4 cross peices that the bed sits on that are mounted to the frame One is different from the other 3 the odd one goes were? There was not much of the bed left when I started so any help and info would be great Thanks again BERT
