what if the noise is coming from speedometer instead of cable? will spraying wd40 into it be ok?
-
just my 2 cents worth. on rear drums check your book and see if says back your shoes away from drums while bleeding?

I believe 50 Kingsway is same as 50 Plymouth de luxe ?

I've seen some pictures where a paper filter was used inside oil bath canister. I ordered one from rockauto but was too big.searched net /sites can not find part number of one used.if anyone here is using one please let me know #.tks. ( this is a 50 dodge coronet)

Klinestine.i reread posting,so the original fitting wont thread into new tank? Try to make a impression of opening with paper that'll give you idea of o.d. for fitting to match. as for as thread pick up different ones to see if screws in easy can always return others.i know mine was not a standard size
-
Sorry couldnt find package. Take your threaded end,to oreillys they have a bend behind counter with different barbed fittings.(they let me)match diameter and place threads together correct ones should go into each course. I put a flare on steel line ,slipped rubber hose over it .used 2 small clamps just in case.use tread sealant on barb fitting.i used yellow gas tape on mine no leaks
