I have finally bought the top bearing for the steering column. Couldn't find a new one so got a good used one. Last piece that I needed. Putting in the front seat. Have run into 2 small problems but the upholster will fix no charge. Almost finished now. The first three photos show the problems. Seat gap between the back and bottom isn't right and there should be vinyl on that part in the back corner.

When I changed to dual carbs on my 47 I used the throttle cable as a choke cable. Works fine.

The windshield is the same on mine. The widows for the doors on the coupe are bigger than those of a sedan. -
when I took mine apart I took photos. Mine was on fat side on bottom. Pretty sure it had never been off of mine before.

Went out of Seward Alaska with a friend for halibut and some rock fish. Calm day for Alaska and sunny. Both together are rare. We even caught our limit.
