I am having an issue that maybe you guys can give me some insite on. My 1950 plymouth special deluxe is not getting fuel to the carb. I out a new fuel pump in it about a month ago and it ran great. The other day my wife and I frove into town to get gas because I am not sure how correct the fuel gauge is. As we are driving into town it spits and sputters and dies. Figured I ran out of gas even though the gauge says 1/4 tank. So get the five gallon tank out of the trunk and get gas. Dump it in and now I can not seem to get gas to flow. I look under the car and the glass bulb on the fuel pump looks full but still nothing. took the fuel lines off and blew them out to make sure it is not plugged. Still nothing. I should mention that the car sat for 25 years before I pulled it from a barn. but most everything has been replaced. Thanks in advance for any help.
