  5. Ive got a 50 plymouth special deluxe. Well I wanna rebuild the carb and I cant find a rebuild kit for it. The carb is a Carter Ball and Ball single barrel c6F5. any help would be great.
  6. Thanks Everyone. I tore everything apart and cleaned it all up and shes alive!!!. Running great again. Thanks again For the suggestions. NatesSedan I am using a mehanical fuel pump. Everything on the car is original 6 volt and all
  7. I am having an issue that maybe you guys can give me some insite on. My 1950 plymouth special deluxe is not getting fuel to the carb. I out a new fuel pump in it about a month ago and it ran great. The other day my wife and I frove into town to get gas because I am not sure how correct the fuel gauge is. As we are driving into town it spits and sputters and dies. Figured I ran out of gas even though the gauge says 1/4 tank. So get the five gallon tank out of the trunk and get gas. Dump it in and now I can not seem to get gas to flow. I look under the car and the glass bulb on the fuel pump looks full but still nothing. took the fuel lines off and blew them out to make sure it is not plugged. Still nothing. I should mention that the car sat for 25 years before I pulled it from a barn. but most everything has been replaced. Thanks in advance for any help.
  8. I just got a new fuel pump from rock auto for my 50 plymouth was like 70 bucks if I am not mistaken.
  9. Thanks guys for the info. I will deffinetly try the place in swanton.
  10. Fire ball, Trying to get parts for the car has become a chore in its self. I am looking for a set of front coils if anyone has a pair.
  11. I live outside of Toledo. About an hour from Detroit. PM me with details I would love to go.
  12. So I am back to square one. Anymore suggestions?
  13. The car is all original with drum brakes still. Even still 6 volt. Was not sure if there are drop spindles for drums. Do not really want to cut off a coil since it is all original. If I change coils I can change them back later.
  14. I have a 50 plymouth special deluxe and I am trying to find coils to lower the front and inch or two. Anyone have an Idea where I can get them?
