  1. Cool truck Glen! I like the shot next to the bay, thanks for posting
  2. Very nice! Just missing the fly rod in the back ?
  3. Exactly, that’s why I made offers….. I’d take a chance for two thirds less in price ?
  4. Lol, I sure wish you would buy this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/154730253133?epid=7029126274&hash=item2406a44b4d:g:3wUAAOSwkP9hqQjj it keeps popping up in my cart but, I can’t bring myself to pay the price and my offers are rejected as soon as I submit it. will be interested, if you come up with something
  5. Wow Brad, way to pick the hardest hinge to get at! ? I vote heat, a punch, penetrating oil and stay away from the riveted side. That pillar side is more common, in most of our extra parts bins Good luck!
  6. Lol, I’ve got your back Rob! OR i think i stole this from Rob years ago ?
  7. The ones I have for that area are 2” ID but, the hole on my B3 is 1-7/8” (might have to alter the ID of the plug) L= sending unit plug, R= mount plug
  8. Ignore him Brad, it is calving season and he seems to have handled the LA200 with his bare hands again ?
  9. Like those 6-39-3 pads? Congrats on getting it up and running! Looking good! ?
  10. I attached a string to mine and pulled it out leave the string in, do the repair, reattach, pull back (gently) ?
  11. Lol, geez, somebody has the all “route van” channel ? good eye
  12. lol, just buy three times the amount needed hoping a third will work probably doesn’t matter but, I like flat condenser wire….. makes me happy ?
  13. I’ve always ran .035 on the plugs and .018-.020 on the points in my flatheads from 218 to 236. I use a vacuum gauge to help find the “sweet spot” on the timing…. Works for me ? The 218 In My b3b is a Plymouth engine good luck,
  14. Geez, glad you found the pin…. now stop breaking stuff! LOL
  15. Oregon has a 55 mph speed limit on the interstates in the metro area. I like it, it gives a better reaction time for those that are on their cell phone LOL I just came back from California towing, I don’t understand why the triple axels (trucks and towing) speed is 55 max! oh well
  16. Lol, You know me PA, i’m Not the brightest knife in the light socket ?
  17. sorry for showing this photo again I like my trailer. (20’ , 14k flatbed) made a handful of trips to CA to the BBQ a couple trips to WA to p/u a couple 1.5 toners (and visit Rob ?) and a trip to Minnesota for BTT50’s every trip I take about 30min or so to look it over and check the welds, brakes, lights etc. safety first, trailer users! And please, make sure your tow vehicle is equipped to handle the load. keep on truckin ?
  18. Back in he 80’s, (when I worked at the lube shops) we used 80w90 GL4 in the transmission and a 80w90 GL5 in the rear differentials. (Some vehicles used a gl1 and ATF in the transmissions etc.) now days there is more to choose from but, i use the 85w140 if it has the GL5 rating (in both gear boxes) As far as flavor..... that is a personal preference I would guess you are wanting to change the fluid because of the condensation buildup over time, not because it is due to be changed by mileage? Lol, by the way.... it is best to drive the truck and warm the fluid up before draining and refilling ? (just funin ya)
  19. Lol, yes but if you raise the roof you open up the option for a larger truck ?
  20. I spied me some B1 door seal this weekend on the door itself and an example of the holes the doors have to except the product If steel comes through on the B3/4 seal, I wonder if they would pop the B1/2 seal as well….. definitely two different products
  21. We need to get you a truck! ? Lol, In the mean time, you need to work on stretching those doors or raising the roof
  22. Oh, we didn’t miss it brother LoL here are a few photos from the day a blast seeing everyone again! Mark parked Jim next to me this year as we were leaving I said “ thanks for parking next to me Jim” Jim looked at me and said “sure, I thought I was put in the “still in progress row””? LOL, GAME ON mr. Shepherd! (Game on) thanks again Tim and Steph!
