  1. Very possible, it was on both sides in the same place. Looked like where the metal was folded and a spot weld missed...

  3. no kidding, I can absolutely see why so many of them have the issues they do. the gaps everywhere from the obvious to the "crap I almost missed that one"
  4. thanks for the options, I didn't think of regular house caulk, let alone marine caulk and I always seem to forget about por15. also, I didn't consider applying after paint..... kind of like that idea. glad I asked

  6. back in the day I think Dodge must have used a cloth or something stapled at the rear cab corners and along the inside back. Then sealed over the cloth with a seam filler. when I had my cab blasted the seam filler and cloth disappeared leaving me with just staples and about a 3/16" to 1/4" gap all along the back I can imagine the cloth (if that is what was used) absorbed moisture and is a big reason why a lot of cabs have "a rot/ rust line" along the back is there a product a guy could/ should use at this point to cover the gap? I was thinking of using a "backer rod" and then brushing on the seam sealer (I think it is self leveling) but I don't want to create an issue later.

  8. Embarrassing, I got 55%.... But, I nailed the Dodges! I don't feel to bad, I can't tell the age or sometimes gender of thoes that have had alterations either..

  10. In the 80's I put red shag carpet in my b3b, Looking back I thought it was silly.... Until I bought by b3hh, remnants of green shag carpet still exist.

Sunday we drove up to "Lake Superior" to cool down (I won't say it was hot at the show, but those cookies at the show ) on the way we spotted a pilot house on a "detour" to hwy 61 and we even found a "pilot house" on the lake came back Wisconsin side and stopped in an antique shop in Stillwater these trucks are EVERYWHERE!
  17. just got back home last night... what a great time! very inspiring and overwhelming... I had a blast meeting John and Mike, and hanging out with Mark and Ed (wish we didn't scare off Jeremiah and Gary so quickly) we only spent Friday and Saturday at the show, but here are a couple vehicles that stood out for me I learned a lot about my wife ...... two of her favorites

  20. Just a heads up, wear comfortable shoes.... it is 320 acres and Julie and I walked 18 miles in two days (according to her "Fitbit") I have a couple photos to post when I get home....still bumin' around...... Anyone end up with goodies from the swap meet?
  21. have no fear guys.... we found them, wonder aimlessly around a Mopar wrecking yard and they were chasing each other around playing "hide and go COE" I must say it was a little awkward ..........
  22. The weather looks warm (by PNW standards) I'll be coming from mid 60's day time high to that being the low? Look out MN! We'll be there Around midnight. BTW.... Me and Julie tryed to bring some friends.... But the grown up of the group keeps saying "NO"
