  1. so far I am only up to 35mph but I have either a fuel or distributor issue I still need to resolve.... someday, who knows maybe even 45mph
  2. so it does...... mystery solved.... just hadn't seen it before.
  3. no other set, end of the frame. I looked again tonight and they are riveted in place.... looks factory to me. not really centered with the tire carrier either. I didn't know if it was a B4 thing or a 1 ton thing..... word around the campfire is it was possibly a water truck or something like that before the wood bed was installed in the 70's not sure if that would have anything to do with it or not...
  4. pulled the headliner out to pop out the roof dent this past weekend I was thinking I might try and clean it up and use the expanded metal backing and glue it to the liner to keep the original cardboard .... not sure yet if it will work I was admiring the truck (as I often do ) as it was starting to get dark.... anyone know what are the two drop down sections (above the spare tire mount) are for? I was thinking they were to hold the spare tire in place but I don't see them on my B3B's
  5. burn day made a lot more fun with Rob
  6. first time I was able to take "Rob" on the blacktop
  7. have you seen "the finest hours"? has a few cars sprinkled throughout. not 100% sure on the models but I thought it was a pretty good film.... ( I don't need to see it again though)
  8. I just had my drivers side glass cut (with vent window) for my B4, the shop quoted me "about" $65. when the glass was done, it was $65. PLUS a $25. "pattern cut" turns out pattern cut around here means anything other than a square. save yourself some anguish, make sure there aren't any surprises upfront ($25. doesn't sound like much, but I had 5 pieces done...... )
  9. Welcome AKMARK, wow, that is quite the mirror extension once you get into the brakes, I sent my cylinders to https://hagensautoparts.com/dodge+-+truck/9-brake/2895 if you are looking to have them rebuilt

  16. if you set it on the pillars and then gently tip, it'll set on the front drip rail. I think yours is further along than mine.... I would put down cardboard or old blankets
