  1. Thought you'd all enjoy these, make sure you have the sound up The car is a Fiat S76 built originally back in 1913 to attempt the land speed record, reached an unofficial 134 mph, and has recently been restored. Enjoy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0TV2l6TOuGA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsdWgmp4TaQ regards.. Simon.
  2. I checked http://www.rockauto.co.uk/ but they only list right hand threads !!!!!!!!!! but they are only 85p ($1.26) each. We only went metric on cars in the UK here in late seventies, you guys are lucky just having UNF/UNC threads to deal with, there was a whole host of different threads around before it become standardised ie. BSF, BSW, BA, BSP, Whitworth and a few other obscure types all requiring their own set of spanners.
  3. Very picturesque Robin, looks like a fun day.
  4. The head looks to be in good shape and it's nice to have the head/inlet combo from the same manufacture. You say expensive but what are the chances of finding another package like this? Look forward to seeing a photo of it all fitted on your car...... regards.............. Simon.
  5. Nice find. Going by the doors looks like it started life as a 4dr sedan, probably converted by a local coach builder.
  6. Just up the road from you in Romsey.
  7. Nice looking car you got there, welcome to the forum. Look forward to seeing it around. regards ......... Simon.
  8. If your not in a rush for them keep an eye on ebay as they turn up fairly regularly for less money, I brought both shop and parts manuals for my Plymouth in good clean condition for less than the reprints. I agree with Todd that the reprints photos aren't as clear as the original manuals but still good enough to understand. regards........... Simon.

Welcome Steve, That's a nice Coupe you have.
  10. Pete, My Plymouth's never had a filter fitted as far as I know and it 's still going strong after 66 years, for the mileage I do I came to the conclusion I'm better off spending my money on changing the oil twice a year than pay what's being asked for some of these original style filters. Regards ............ Simon.
  11. I did wonder that Don, they couldn't have found a better place to have it with all that space in the rear!!!!!!!!! That's got to be an uncomfortable ride.
  12. That's a beauty, anyone know what the circular thing is that's attached to the back of the front seat
  13. Hey Robin your new tach looks good. My only concern is the extra weight you've added, won't this slow you down at Pendine!!!!!!!
  14. Welcome Simon, I'm only down the road from you in Romsey. Lots of good folk and info here. Look forward to seeing you and your car, post some pics when it arrives. regards........... Simon.
