Welcome to the site and community! Don't forget to post your location on the member map! GT
  2. Re the pt. vs. qt question. Think it depends on the type of air cleaner you have. I believe the heavy duty (about twice as tall as the one pictured) use a quart. The stock a pint.

  4. iPads don't have keyboards. The one that displays on the screen has a worn N key? I gotta see this!

  7. I will contact him to address any concerns.
  8. The original post reads as a parts wanted request. Yes it could be also be read as a information request for names of potential suppliers. A judgment call was made by the moderator. If it was posted to the Classified section people can post with suggestions as to supplier sources, just like a thread in the forum. The first (and only) pinned note in the forum addressed the policy of parts wanted request. This was a big problem area in the previous iteration of the site and I purchased Classified software to directly address the problem. People just have to use it. Want to be part of the solution instead of second guessing moderator judgement calls? Subscribe to the Classified section so you can see new request coming in and being able to help someone. The volume of email traffic from new ads is low so your email won't get flooded and you might be able to clean something out of your garage!
  9. ISP got back with regarding root cause for this outage. (The database used is typically rock solid, in use by thousands of sites worldwide) Specifically we had a large number of users and search engine bots hitting the server at the same time causing it to run out of both physical and swap memory. Bad news it caused a crash, good news it is it means the site is continuing to grow! We have a plan ready if it becomes a more common issue.
  10. I want to get one for my the creek bed that runs behind my property. It is like a freeway at night with critters going back and forth. Lots of skunks followed by lots of coyotes.
  11. Get the Mopar factory Parts book as it will have the s/n listed in the first chapter. Or post your S/N and see if we can match it in the parts book. DMV should accept the factory parts book as legit.

  14. I live up one the coastal canyons in California on the urban/wilderness boundary. A month ago in one of the vacant lots we had a mountain lion take a deer for breakfast and drag it back up the ridge. Gotta respect those big cats!
  15. I flew in one of those amphibians many years ago on vacation in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Cool part was when I boarded the pilot asked me if I wanted to sit up from in the co-pilot seat. Even better was the window opened and you could poke you elbow out! Taking off in 2-3 foot chop was pretty intense. Still remember him cranking up the landing gear. Those days are gone.
  16. If no success try Instrument Services. Contact info on the links page.

  19. 2nd Don's comment, then stick with oil, you will need to service it maybe once a year. And it filters better!
  20. Buddy of mine had one back in the early 70's. Fun, fun ride! Another buddy had the Alpine version, no so fun
