  1. Paul, couple navigation hints... At the top of the page just below the logo is a navigation menu. (I have included a screen shot of the menu) It is visible on every page. If you get lost you can just click on Home or Forum and it will take you back to those pages. We also have breadcrumbs just below the menu bar. (See second image, breadcrumb circled in red.) It tells your where you are right now. You can jump back up in the structure just by clicking on the text in the breadcrumb.

Breadcrumbs tell you where you are and by clicking on the breadcrumb text you can navigate back to your starting point.

  4. Are the new wheel and tires actually a different height? If not you don't need to change anything.
  5. DJ, you might want to switch browsers to FIrefox or Chrome. The software that runs this site is using many new features in PHP, javascript and HTML5. These are the technology building blocks used for modern web sites. However to take advantage of them your need a browser that supports them. Firefox and Chrome are two free browsers that also support older versions of Windows.
  6. Very sorry to hear about your loss.
  7. And don't forget to review the Brake article in the Tech section at the top of the page.
  8. If the return spring is missing you will never get the clutch adjusted.
  9. Brakes, contact one of our advertisers, Butch's. For tunes a bunch of suppliers are now doing full stereo/ipod mods while keeping the stock unit for a "head". Check Hemmings or Google. I'm going the aux vacuum pump path for the wipers. That way I can keep the stock 6 volt setup. Another option is fuel pump with vacuum booster.
  10. Are the two return springs both attached? (One for brake, one for clutch) They should be below the pivot shaft the brake and clutch pedal ride on the left hand side of the truck.
  11. If you don't want to go the muffler shop route Kepich Exhaust has complete kits that fit perfectly. They have an eBay store at http://stores.ebay.com/Klasskollection-Exhaust-Systems
  12. If you just purchased the car for safety's sake I would pull all four drums and do an inspection. Something is not correct. Second while you have the drums off NEVER STEP ON THE BRAKE PEDAL as the wheel cylinder pistons will pop out, leaking brake fluid all over everything. Report back what you find.
  13. Welcome to the site! Don't forget to add your location to the Member Map!
  14. Interesting paint scheme on the hood!
  15. 1AO 4101 is the ID number I needed. None of the inventory I have fits. According to Hollanders that was just used on a few models of trucks and not much cross overs as a substitute.
  16. Looks great, congratulations on a great job! Post some pics in the photo gallery so I can get it one the home page!
  17. Mike you need to post the model number on the distributor. It is probably an Autolite model.
  18. Yes plus a bunch more I have to inventory.
  19. Post the distributor number and I will check Hollanders to see if any of the cores I have in the P15-D24 store will work.
  20. They also have a 270 degree sweep version which is what I went for in my truck. (Kind of like the old Sun tachs) I used a large PVC end cap for a housing and mounted it to the dash.
  21. THe moderators can make that call.
