  1. Hold the mouse over your name in the above post and a box will appear that says "Find Content". Click on that and you will get a list of all threads you have posted content.
  2. Bernbaum has them listed in their catalog. The kit may have leather boots (as Tod mentioned) instead of rubber. It has been my experience you must remove the pin to get the rubber boots installed. Trying to force them over the pin will tear them. The leather boot are split and install easily. I have used the leather ones for years and never had any issues with leakage or dirt incursion.
  3. To question 2, that is correct. And you can specify if you want allow comments and those comments can be moderated before the public sees them.
  4. Post them in and individual phone gallery on the Photos page. That way I can feature them on the home page!
  5. Pilothouse truck brochure shows both a hard top with canvas sides/back and flip down seats, or a "package canopy body" (all canvas) as factory options.
  6. Temporarily pulled while I check on copyright issues.
  7. Take off the nut holding the shoe anchor nuts. Then tab the bolts in about 1/2 inch so the shoes retract. Then use the puller. This isn't that hard of a job. If it isn't coming off then something is binding/holding it which is usually the brake shoe. You did back off all (major and minor) shoe adjusters before starting?
  8. I don't own the domain for DPETCA (or site) and it looks like whoever is registered as owner needs to do a renewal asap.
  9. I think a lot of people have great stories to tell about their relationship with their projects, from bringing them back to life to driving down the road. Hopefully others will see this format (blogging) is easier then forum posts when telling a story with multiple chapters. Look forward to reading future "installments"!
  10. That was all this operation was suppose to do. Next they will attach the starboard "floats", then re-float it for towing and scrap. Don't think they will have it re-floated till spring 2014. WIth it upright hopefully they can find the two missing bodies.
  11. That's my preferred weapon in this battle. Zip, zip it's off.
  12. It's going to be scrapped. Question is where they will tow it as the primary harbor for scrap job is not yet ready to accept it. Budget for recovery is 600 million.
  13. live video feed here Pretty impressive engineering challenge!
  14. Push pins are normally not attached to the shoe. The springs hold them in place.
  15. In the future please post these type of requests in the Classified section.
  16. Merle is spot on. Only addition is check your filter casing carefully for which port is inlet and outlet. It will be marked. Some have the inlet on the top, some on the bottom. And I would only use steel lines. I have had those rubber ones fail.
  17. Later heads (post '53) typically have an a port for internal water pump bypass. (The bump on the front edge.) Earlier head are for external bypass setup.
  18. Oracle got a two race penalty for that action so they are already down 4-0 in the series.
