  3. The second set of questions you are being asked are the questions you set up for two factor authentication. If you don't answer the questions exactly correct it will fail. Good hint is use just a single word, not a phrase that requires the exact spacing to pass. Also the answer is case sensitive so if you forget a capital letter it will fail. I suggest using a single word all lower case just to keep it simple. If you want I can turn off two factor authentication so you can reset it with new words if desired. Just email your request to info@p15-d24.com.
  4. Can you send me a screen shot of the project request? There is no request for a project set up in any of the log in procedures.
  5. The vendor for the forum software changed the log in method to requiring registration email address instead of username a couple updates back. The reason is it is more secure. Remember your username is visible in the forums while your registration email is not.

  10. I ending up just blocking all traffic from Russia, China and Singapore at the network level. Stopped the issue in a matter of minutes.
  11. Just being extra cautious as I have seen some suspicious activity by "Guests". Moving forward "Guests" will need to first register to gain access. This provides me a way to review registration information to determine if is a legitimate registration attempt or a spammer. This week I have seen an increase in spammer attempts to gain site access (they get filtered out in the registration process).
  12. We have grown to over 12,000 registered members and new members joining every day! Things have changed over the years with new site software several times. Fortunately the software has gotten much more stable making my admin job much easier! We have met and built new friends online and meeting many in person. And as the years have marched on we have sadly lost some of those friends. I'm most proud of the way the community shares information and helps fellow mopar lovers. I look forward to many more years and thank you for your ongoing support!

  16. Some of the factory export Power Wagons used the /6 so it can be done. But I have to agree with PA, why? I had a Dart with the 225 and it was decent, performance so-so with the auto 3 speed and mileage not much better than the flathead. If you going to do all the work a 318 V8 seems like a better choice.
  17. Before I lock this thread just a couple reminders: You all agree to a Terms of Service (TOS) when you sign up to the site. One of those terms is no political or religious discussions. Very specific reason for this restriction, I've seen numerous other forums destroyed by a few zealots who think forums like this are a platform for them to express their views. It's not. If you don't like the TOS don't visit. And don't forget it is a mopar car/truck site, period. It's not censorship when you agree to a TOS and then violate the rules. It's just being rude. The solution is easy: if you don't like the rules: start your own site. Regarding the actual video I watched the whole thing and the title is click bait. The most often used word in the video is "could", not would. Pure speculation and fear mongering on something that may or may not happen. Great way to monetize your YouTube channel. I personally have four classic vehicles in DMV on nonop status but I didn't get a letter from CARB. Is this a potential issue in the future? Sure, but then contact your government representatives to express your opinions and concerns. Or move to another state where you can agree with the laws. If you ever saw the air in L.A. basin 45 years ago you will understand why California has CARB. At least now the sky is blue not dark brown. The reality is as time goes by there are less and less "vintage" cars on the road and the issue will become moot over time. Probably the only relevant issue in the entire video is how to fairly off set the tax loss non ICE vehicles will cause. I will leave the post up so other can review the video if they want. Lastly, please don't forget it is a mopar car/truck site, period.
  18. Didn't we have a thread a while back where a member got a generic brake drum from one of the big retail auto parts suppliers and modified it to fit? Just got the right bolt spacing and had a machinist cut down the inside edge of the drum so it fit the backing plate.
  19. Pretty straight forward, usually three bolts holding it on. Vintage Power Wagons, NAPA, Roberts, Berbaums south have them in stock. Last one I did all I did was remove the fan belt, pulled the bolts and hoses and it was out. The face of the radiator can have shared[ edges so wear gloves.
  20. Or just take the from valve cover off and turn the engine over till you see both valve close. Then go a little bit further and see if the exhaust valve is opening. Then you will know you have just got past TDC on #1. Back it up to TDC then pull the distributor cap. The rotor should be pointing around 7 o'clock. Pull the #1 plug wire and stick in a spare plug or neon tester light. Now you can set the timing by loosening the distributor lock bolt and just turning it so the points open and you see a flash on the tester plug/light. That should be more than close enough to start. When you snap open the carb do you see a stream of gas going down the carb throat?
