  1. As I always am a vendor at Spring Fling, Finally as the BBQ is moved up, I get to come! Looking forward to seeing everybody. Mark Poggies Rod & Custom Shop Santa rosa
  2. I just wanted the same answer and now I have it! I Love this site:D
  3. In the post simplematic vs tip toe it is NOT the trans pictured in blue. It has one solonoid on the passenger side and a vacuum electric thingamabob too. It looks just like the one I found pictured in a post that the picture was titled V fluidrive It is in a 1941 Chrysler royal. I thought it was a 1942. I told you I was a dummy!
  4. I am trying to figure out if the trans is the semi automatic or the three speed. I called Andy Bernbaum and he was pretty rude to me. He told me to figure it out and call him back to order the parts. We have the cover off and my mechanic says it looks like it has two gears with high and low range. another guy says it is not an overdrive and a third says it is a three speed. I am just the dummy trying to get it running. I have never driven one. Any help so I can get the right parts. It has a clutch and the converter so I do know that much. Also does anybody have a part number for the clutch disk and pressure plate from say Napa or? Thank You for the help!
  5. First off let me thank you BOB for stopping by. Second let me talk about seams. Typically if you weld slow there will be zero warpage as it is a 90 degree flange so it takes alot more heat to warp. Lead or plastic filler is never a good idea due to thermal expansion of the seam. It WILL crack sooner or later. Rust conversion coatings never work as in my 25 years in this business I have seen them fail every time. I painted the cab in the pictures in 1995 and told the customer I wanted to weld the seams as they were rusty. He insisted I sandblast the seams clean and pour DP epoxy primer into the clean seams. Then the seams were sealed with flexible seamseal from 3M. By 2000 some failure was evident and by 2005 he scheduled the truck for a complete redo. Just my 2 cents
  6. I would love to host a BBQ for the club!!!!!!!! Call me BOB and we can set up a date!

  11. Why is it latley I cannot view the pictures in the Pilot House gallery when I am on the website? Nothing has changed on my computor. I have enabled popups too. All I get is an X in the upper left corner of the picture. The description is still there though.
  12. I finally met Bob the other day when he stopped by my shop and hand delivered my calender! We had a great visit and I am looking forward to many more! Thank you Bob
  13. We are converting two 1950 and one 1948 dodge trucks to streetrods. Dont worry they are staying mopar. I have for sale two motors and tow trans. One trans is a 3 speed column from a 3/4 ton 116 and one from a 1/2 ton 108 and is a floor shift 3 or 4 speed. One motor is frozen with the head removed and one is free spinning would probably run. I have the drive shafts also. I want them to go to somebody who can use them Mark 707-578-8238
  14. Thank You for the pics. They are definetly more yellow than the color chart. That gives me allot to go on. Mark
  15. Does anyone have a pic or two of armour yellow in a 48-50 pickup? I have looked at the color chart at autocolorlibrary and it looks more of an orange which is what I want but would like to see a pic Thank You!
