  2. Thanks for the advice. I didn't realize it was a "Woodruff Key", I was trying to grab it with an end cutter type pliers. I will try tapping it out with a drift. Desotodav, yes that helps. Thanks, Rob
  3. Howdy all, my brother and I picked up a 1952 Pilothouse and I've been lurking here for a bit. Our truck We've started tearing it apart and got stalled with the pedal assembly. We trie removing the key on the end of the shaft to remove the pedals but cant get a good angle on it. It looks like you can unbolt the entire assembly from the transmission and take them out that way. Will that work or does that open up the transmission? Thanks, Rob
