Don, you were still working then---didn`t you get to meet on the Companys time---so to speak----ain`t saying it can`t happen---but 50`s is a great venue to meet up with fellow members---it`s what we all do anyway---good vacation time---I would encourage all to come----ain`t nothing like it anywhere in the country----largest show outside of the Nationals---and most of the time bigger.............Lee
Your is a bit lighter--still it would be fun to try---to bad-- for the most part we all live to far from each other---come for Back to the Fifties----old car overload---10-14K cars 64 and older----wait for our opportunity......Lee
The "kids" car is still in my shop---hope to have it out by next week---he needs to finish the seam sealing---then paint at his shop. Dealing on another car too---taking up a little time also---let ya know if the deal goes thru--- another (bowtie)

rest of pics.....Mr. Bill The last pic shows the special lug nut----notice the ridge----snaps niclely in place....nice clean install without welding any tabs.....This is a Ford bolt pattern and the studs needed for the special lug nut are 1/2x20--1 3/4 long---Dorman# 610-258----another option.................Lee
Bill we are going a slightly different route on our police wheels for the "Kids" wagon-- taking the center cap that Ford uses and sanding down the center part and filling in the Ford oval---then painting it semi-black like the wheels. They have a special lug nut that has a ridge on it that the center cap snaps on to. Then my pinstripe buddy will put the Chev bowtie in it`s place----same for the MoPar emblem or what trips your trigger.......Lee More pics in a minute....friggin computers
Just mechanical stuff right now---took in the spindles for some machining on the upper boss so the brackets fit for the big Camaro Z-28 disc brakes. The "Kid" will work on the car Thurs......me packing for a weekend trip to visit my older brother out west...............just missed buying another wagon----I gotta be crazy (I am) more later...............Lee
No pics this round----just finished painting the last coat of primer for the roof---a light scuffing and seam sealer (everywhere)---to the shop for final color. Will have pics or maybe a U-tube shot:D ssooooo close to color---fun time.....Lee
When you were here I still had the T-5 in the car---I have not had time to install it. I don`t want to take it down during the driving season. I never said I put it in???? Check out my post on the Dynamat install 7-5-12 I talk about my winter project.....Lee
I will be installing one this winter and have not figured out the servo linkage yet---I have twin C/W carbs and the set up will take some thinking......Lee
Off white or cream color roof---Mini Cooper---- Ice Blue, very light blue, almost white---his colors---I would have went with a cream color roof and burnt orange---light tan interior----his car his call----thanks for the kudos----hey not bad yourself---great ride you have......Lee
It was so nice outside the last few days---I had to blow the dust out of the garage and do some light blocking with a red 3M pad--she be back where it belongs....waiting for next week. I finished up cleaning the front clip sheet metal and wire brushing some of the bolts...little stuff, very time consuming:(:(----bad birdie no poopy:D
Got the firewall etched and primed............one more coat of primer on the roof---block and sand---seam sealer and to the shop for paint. So we pushed her outside for a little tan time.....first time out of the garage since 10-31-11:D
Sunday I got the clip apart and ready for final cleaning---hope to those parts ready by Thurs. for paint--The side panels with the frame rails and front radiator support. The new suspension by Church Brothers Racing will be very nice--along with the brackets for 98-02 Camaro rotors and calipers---the whole conversion is top notch. From the clip--to a pile of parts and three pieces of sheet metal---easier to work with:D
