On the side, I had a heart attack Thursday morning--made to the ER in time--they put in a stint and they sent me home today. 5-6 weeks of re-hab and back in for bypass---so be out of work for 3 months----so won`t be doing any big car stuff for awhile.Update on the "Kids" and LuLu later when they OK me for bigger things.................this is going to drive me nuts, just waiting for surgery and re-hab.......bummer......Lee

  9. The "Kid" has been busy---he got the car wet sanded and buffed---the doors hung and tailgate---starting to look like a car again---goes to his place for the winter and won`t be back till he comes up with the front end parts. And a before shot...............Lee
  10. Newport Engineering doesn`t have a listing for my 52 Windsor--any of the MoPar cousins have the same motor as LuLu ---then I could re-check there product line--I have reduced the voltage with a power resister and could stay with that if needed----but am into a re-wire and other upgrades--now is the time to change while I have so much room to work.....thanks.....Lee
  11. More scraping higher up in the dash. Removed the radio, ash tray, heater and controls,CB and linkage for the cowl vent. Gives me more room to put in the Dynamat---move the new radio to stock position---put in new fuse panel and re-wire along with everything else:eek:
  12. Some progress---got the rest of the floor scraped--I am going to leave it bare till I decide on different seats--some reinforcement on the floor-- got some oil canning from cutting the holes for the master and shifter hole---should have done this way back. Everything is up in the air on the engine change---it will all come together soon....Lee

  22. We have COLOR---the "Kid" worked the last two nites and did two one nite and two today---Mini Cooper light blue....it`s been a long time coming:D:D:D
  23. This is using the original front mount and bracket on the bottom of the adapter plate goes to the frame mounts----rear crossmember on the rear of tranny----the adapter plate will work with manual or automatic trannys. The 55 Chev had two front puck style and two mounts on the bellhousing---so many different ways I guess if they work thats all that counts. Of course this comes from the Department of Redundancy Department--lol:rolleyes:
