Flatie46, all i have to say is enjoy life because you never know whats coming down the road and will leave it at that. Knuckleharley i hear what you are saying and is why i have only posted on this web site. If i wanted to scrap it i could easily do it myself, lots of scrap buyers around me right here. I need to tie up loose ends quickly and is why it is free to GOOD home. I feel confident that somebody from the group will do the right thing.

Ok so here"s the deal, i started redoing my 1951 Plymouth concord business coupe about 4 years ago. Some of you might remember pics i posted while the work was going on. Due to reasons way beyond my control it has become clear that i will never be able to finish the build. I am willing to GIVE whats left of the car to someone who wants it to either finish or use the parts. I have a clear pa antique title in my name. No i didnt not go insane but i am the type of person who would rather see it go to some one who can do something with it instead of just letting it set in the top of my barn. Whom ever gets the car will need to help me clear out around it so it can be moved. The body is sitting up on blocks and frame is sitting under it. If interested please know that you will need help to move it out onto your trailer. I have all the sheet metal, frame, rear, all the chrome trim and alot of little stuff. The firewall was cut and moved back some to fit the motor i had built for it, pads were welded in for motor mounts, will need floors, small amount of trunk work. This car is in no way beyond fixing i just will not be able to do it myself. If interested contact me and we can set up a time for you to come see whats involved in getting it. I have put some pics so you can get some idea where the build is.

well its time to start doing the rear set up, has anyone done a 4 link set up in there old ride, if so any tips? By the way the hemi transplant is all set up and looking good, put a Muncie m20 behind it and now an doing the front and rear set ups. Speedway for the gasser front end with a 8 3/4 rear (if I can find a good set up)

that's not for the distributor, that's a oil fill tube.

yea I could have hopped up the flathead, and I'm sure it seams like a lot of extra work and expense putting the hemi in there, but I wanted to build something different, and since I have the time and enjoy doing the project, why not?

sorry it has been awhile but things are going kind of slow right now. hemi is coming along nicely. did have to do some firewall work but that also is falling in place. I have decided to go with a m20 muncy for the tranny and was able to pick one up at carsile a couple weeks ago.

going with a flaming river steering set up. going to make my own headers so no trouble there. i have 3" to work with in reguards to front/back motor positioning, which seems to be pleanty, do not even have to move firewall, bell sits nice in tunnel so far, like i stated before this is only a rough mock up so when it comes down to actully bolting this beast down i'm sure there will be some modding of parts but i dodn't see any major surgury, and like forrest gump said "thats good"!

ok, here is the latest update, started doing my rough in of hemi and was really surprised how much room I have to work with, do not have to cut front frame rails! will work very nicely with what I have to work with. since I am running gasser headers over the outside of the frame rail space is no an issue at all. These are only rough in pics but they show how nice things are coming along

i saw that write up info on the web about the 50 gasser, really good write up, some killer ideas. I am in pottstown. Also as i am going to be deleating stock steering i will be puttiing up the steering box and the front suspension up for sale. It is all in nice shape and can be bolted right on, fresh paint and grease. Springs are no good so in the scrap pile they go.
