  1. I think I solved my issue. The pedals are not a problem due to the fact I looked at them and remembered we fabricated them to work with the dual master cyl. I am going to try and fabricate a cross member that bolts to the upper bell housing frame mounts and comes down under the new trans. Thanks for your input. You made me think in depth about what I was trying to accomplish.
  2. i have disc brakes on the front and a dual master cyl. The 700R trans has the bell housing as part of it and I can get an adapter kit to the Flathead from Wilcap Co. My concern is the rear motor mount and 'Ill have to take a closer look at the pedals. I did the truck in 2004-2007 and if I remember I used the pedals from a 49 Plymouth car.

  5. I had to sell my OD Trans out of my Plymouth Pickup and need to change to a auto due to Health reasons. I'm leaning to a 700R because of the OD. My issue is I have a 47 Plymouth motor with the 41 Bell Housing with the rear engine mounts. I'm I on the right path if I use the stock rear motor mount cross member for a Plymouth car and fabricate it to fit the truck frame? I will also have to fabricate a cross member for the trans mount too. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. Thanks John
