Paul you missed the step of logging into the forum to ask questions

I agree Paul. The opposite is somewhat true too. Be ready to buy when you find something at a decent price. I have been collecting parts for a 40 plymouth truck for probably a decade or longer now. You think your grill is rare try finding the center strip for a 40 plymouth pickup. One day on ebay there was one for buy it now 120 bucks. I couldn't click the button fast enough. While the majority of that truck is the same as any 39-47 the unique 39-40 or 40 only items are tough to come by. The plymouth items even more so.

Tim I've kind of done the opposite circle as you. I started by myself with a pickup. Then I wanted to be able to take more than 1 person to a car show so I found the 48 plymouth. Now with a family I see the practicality of having an old car that the 3 of us can easily travel in for special occasions. While we've never met in person its been great getting to know you over the years. I'm glad that the old truck and hobby in general has found you solace in the most difficult situation any of us will face.

I have the flat rate book for 40-48 plymouth. I do find it fun to look up and see how long the book says a job will take.

Tim politics as usual. When I got my new furnace the inspectors came by. They asked who did the work looked at it for less than a minute and signed off on it. I've never seen the show being talked about but I would hope some of the safety items are being done off camera as they don't make good ratings but still need to be done.
