  1. Dave Erb 73 passed on Nov. 6th 2015 . I was informed by his wife Sandra. He had over 1891 post to the forum as Grey Beard and helped many with truck questions. He and I posted in the pilots knowledge section how to make wire system for the B1B trucks. I visited Dave and his wife in New Holland, PA. and I think several others have also. Dave and his brother also visited me in Ohio.

  2. Barry I bought my harness from RI wiring and had them build in for right brake and turn single. From the left light they added two wires with 54" of tape and 4" of untapped wires. This was built into the harness as a complete unit. They did an excellent job. My truck was a B1B 108". Attached is from   knowledge section. Allan

  3. I have a Foxtron 7 wire that had the drawing wrong. I will attach my coments from April. My indicator would not light either until i grounded the signal

.I found an error in the wire color code for Foxton 7 wire turn signal. Everything worked but when I applied the breaks the left front park light would come on. I found an error in the drawing supplied by Foxton, Number 3 shows left front flasher lamp Dark Blue but the correct color for number 3 should be Cyan and goes to Left rear.

Number 4 shows Left Rear flasher lamp color Cyan but the correct color for number 4 is Dark Blue and goes to the Left front flasher lamp.

I supplied the drawings for the Knowledge section so Page 23 needs to be updated along with page 24.

I also found why my indicator light on the turn signal would not light. I ran a seperate wire to ground the case to the frame, now it works.

I will send a note to Foxton for correction.

  4. Thanks to all that replyed. I sent a note to hot rod tractor as a private message. The drive shaft is 4" in diameter and 61 3/4" in length tip of spline to end of u-joint. He can make a new one from a longer shaft if that is what is aviable. The one in Ohio may work but we will contact Dale Uhrich if it doesn't. You guys sure are a great help!! Allan
