  1. I’m down in Mass and might be interested in the trans. Got a friend overseas rebuilding a 46 desoto club coupe and he’s been thinking of getting a second trans for his project. Drop me an email if you decide to part with it. Mark@rdusaclassics.com
  2. And here’s the info Greg mentions above Email me and I can send printable PDF copies to anyone that needs them. Mark@rdusaclassics.com
  3. By the way Lee, you’re in good company. There are several P 15‘s in the UK. Keep in touch with Robin Weathersbee, he organizes a great gathering of P 15‘s every September, I’m sure you’d enjoy it. (Flew over from Boston and attended the last two myself!)

  5. Greg G. and I have been busy researching and making commitments in the Watkins Glen area. Hotels and general agenda to be announced within a few days. In the mean time and as we've started looking at food venues, door prizes and giveaways, it came to light that we'd need a few bucks to get this going. Without taxing ourselves, I found a printer that will host t-shirt sales direct to the buyer. I made up a cool t-shirt to support a small fundraiser. 6. According to the Daytona carb rebuild catolog the D6S1 was a carb used on 46-54 Dodges which had a 230 motor. Not sure if it would be appropriate for the 265. Reference comes page five in the document located at this website. https://cdn.website.thryv.com/8c0139bc430e489cb98d24f13d5a80b2/files/uploaded/DPC catalog[1].pdf
  7. Whose gonna join us for the next p15 picnic in Watkins Glen NY? Please click this link to sign up for future emails ->http://eepurl.com/heC-Ov
  8. I still see plastic models for sale in Walmart. This model is diecast steel. Comes assembled as a collector item.
  9. It’s seems the Chinese scale model manufacturers have not yet found this web site. For if they have they might have learned that an inline six 201 motor doesn’t have chrome valve covers. Don’t know why I never looked under the hood of my scale model diecast cars before.
  10. Have a look in the reference section of the forum. I have scanned and posted several documents there from several 1950s magazine articles.
  11. Stupid spell check... the title of this point should read stock not *stick* ADMIN, can you please change my mistake?
  12. Curious to see if anyone in the forum has sliced a stock head open? I’d like to see what’s going on inside and possible run some fluid dynamics modeling.
  13. Copper spray one side only. Don’t overlook the torquing sequence, and remember to retourque after running the motor to temp.
  14. Set the crane up yesterday then laid down on the floor, the cold concrete floor in an unheated garage, with a balmy 26° and snowing outside. Said to myself what are you doing? Post of the car on line, and had eight people lined up within three hours. This projects going to go to somebody else with more time and heated garage. Will use the new found space to work on my 28 Chrysler. Best of luck Duly, I’ll be following the conversation.
  15. Duly, i understood your first post. Crazy how these threads go off on tangeants.
  16. The Plymouth motor I’m getting comes with a trans. I think I’m gonna transfer it all into the dodge. However when I have it at my place this weekend I’ll do a side by side to see what I’m up against. Only thing I can think of as an obstacle is the clutch linkage.
  17. Getting ready to do the near same transplant. Motor from a ‘53 Plymouth belvedère into a ‘53 Dodge Coronet. Never done it before, likely a few challenges ahead of me. Gonna be following this thread with interest. ...One mountain at a time as they say.

  20. A great time had by all, even though we were at 8 cars (down from 40 registrations) covid didn’t prevent us from having a great time. Appreciate all that came and lended a hand in making the weekend work! Looking forward again to P15 Picnic USA 2021!
  21. Was this the inventory that advertised for Sale in the local papers out there a couple years ago?
  22. Frank - drop me an email. I’m pretty sure I have this on pdf. cheers, mark mark@rdusaclassics.com www.rdusaclassics.com
  23. Nice car! What part of NC? Wife and I have a house in East NC, near Oriental and will be full time down there in about two years. Hoping to there’s a few guys around the area that like to wrench and chew the fat, and toss back the occasional beer.
