Thanks for the replies. I found a shop locally that says they can rebuild it, so I am going to give them a try.

Thanks for responses, but I tried adjusting the linkages as described, made sure the transmisssion bolts had not losened up. Did change the transmission fluid, have magnetic drain plug, and found large amount of metal shavings. I'm assuming gear wear? Does any one sell a rebuilt 3speed,B2B transmission(C-39701 stamped on the passenger side of trans), gears for rebuild, or other???.Saw Andy Bernbaum has gasket set, case bearing, main drive pinion and reatrans seal.... but nothing about gears??? Any help appreciated!
