  3. If the car is being stored outside it is going down hill faster with each passing day. If you have it covered with a tarp it is worse yet.   17. I used a polly tank from TANKS in a 50 Plymouth. I think it was from a 48 chevy. was a little shorter so worked out good for dual ex.
  18. I have loosened the mains to drop the crank down a little and pulled the old top seal out and the new in. They make a tool to do this but I just run a small wire through it.
  19. Bob, I don't know about 54. I have a 50 and its right for that. Tony, you should have a metal screw in plug. No tank came with a rubber plug. Someone put that there maybe because the threads are messed up or something. I would remove it and see what the story is.
  20. Sometime you luck up and get a bonus. A parts car was brought to me with a nos gas tank laying in the back seat.
