Binding link, float agaisnt the bowl, sediment on the needle, old sticky gas, etc......sometimes just taking things apart is the fix.
Personally I only use carb cleaner on the outside of the carb to clean it. Its pretty corosive stuff to spray down the carb. I use WD-40 to clean the inside of a built carb. Also, if you flood the manifold again, shoot some WD to dry it out. WD drives moisture out as well as gas. Oh yea....when you flooded your engine you may have flooded your cylinders. the gas would get past the rings into the engine oil. Might want to check your oil quality. Depends on how much fuel flowed before you found the problem.
