Who is Christine, and why is someone trying to hook her up with someone else, supposedly without her being aware of it (since no locale was shared)?
This topic looks somewhat strange to an outsider, just saying 🤣
Ummmm, put the crack pipe down.

Trying to hook her up with a fellow Dodge owner. But Jan lives in Hamburg.

Raffle ends Fri. 5th.

Been nibbling at my “to do list” before retiring…. the hobby is getting sidelined.
From what I saw, price wise you had them beat.
I kinda hope they expand the odd ball stuff on the big trucks ?Good for you. Retirement is a beautiful state to be in.

Anyone else?
I normally charge $250 for the service.

Selfishly, I hope they stayed local ?
Where have you been???????
I hope they drop their '48-'53 gauge and speedo service.

Could make it myself but would rather find a kit. Any help appreciated. Bob Harrison
Bob, DCM shows a hard brake line kit for the '48-'53 trucks.
You might want to call them and see if they're working on a kit for the earlier trucks.

Was the bidding for trucks only.?
Seems in the past that is was it was.
Yes.

All profits will go to Tim to help cover the cost of the BBQ.
'48-'53 trucks gauge cluster service (sorry pre '48 owners I don't have the equipment to adjust fuel gauges).
Your gauge cluster will be disassembled, cleaned, repainted, adjusted and refaced.A new bulb and tube for the temperature gauge is included in the service if needed. The chrome and glass will be cleaned with super fine (0000) steel wool.Start the bidding at $100?

Sorry I probably didn't ask it clearly.
Where does the other wire on the fuel gauge go to? One goes to the tank sending unit. where is the second wire on the other terminal on fuel gauge go to.
I tested it for ground and nothing.
Sorry. To power. Usually the ignition switch.
-
Should only be one wire. From sending unit to the gauge.
Some folks add an extra wire from the body of the sending
unit to the frame for a better ground.
-
-
Disconnect one of the wires from the fuel gauge.
Take a reading across the two posts with a multi meter.
You're looking for an ohm reading of about 20-50 ohms
for a good gauge.

1000 wt liquid silicon for radio control car shocks works best.
There might be some crud between the magnets and speed cup.

Try searching for school bus seat material. Very close to the sun visors.
