Very nice man by the name of Pop Johnson bought my car today. Kinda sad but its in good hands now. Pop is also a new forum member so please welcome him.
When I turn the key (push the ignition) the starter doesn't seem to engage but rather makes a spinning noise. The car has always been like this but I'm sure this isn't correct. Is this the starter itself and can I fix it?

Had a man by the name of Scott make an offer for my plymouth a while back. I misplaced his number while I was relocating my studio. Does anyone know him?

Bob,
I had the same issue with mine this past summer. Turns out it was the up down alignment of the hinges that mount to the cowl. I adjusted them by slightly loosening all four and carefully closing the hood. The hood naturally shifted into place by which I was able to pop the hood just enough to tighten all four bolts.

I would have to disagree with you Dennis. I've had mine for almost five years and thought it was done for about two years ago. I charged it overnight with a standard 6v charger and the thing works great.

I guess it's not a good time to sell but we'll see. I also put it on craigslist.

Joe,
Greg is right, save yourself the headache and install with the bellhousing. I used a leveler but I did not have the front clip on. Four grade-eight bolts through the water jacket should put your mind at ease.
