Mike, Can you double check the serial number you found? The parts books lists the following serial number ranges for a 1/2 ton: 1952 B-3-B with T306 engine: Detroit built: 82257601-82302000 California built: 85313701-85322000 1953 B-4-B with T306 engine: Detroit built: 82302001-82335036 California built: 85322001-85327718 Thanks, Phil Chrysler VIN Decoder
