  1. I remember when I was building my first B1B back in 1980 and my dad sent me out to the junk yard to get a good temp gauge. I struggled getting it through the firewall so I just took a side cutter and cut it in half. Just to make sure I got a good one I brought back two of them. I smelled the alcohol but thought nothing of it. When I got home my dad just shook his head and if memory serves me right he called me a dumb!$@. In my defense I was only 16 then.
  2. If it’s at 10/2 you have someplace to hold your beer against when you shift. ?
  3. More people die every day in Chicago with some of the stiffest gun laws in the country. Maybe they should have considered to lock down that city years ago.
  4. THANK YOU, I called the guy and he is holding several of the parts for me. I suppose I should probably give Facebook a try, I remember when texting first came out I was upset with my kids for not just picking the damn phone up and talking to one another. But it seems like now I text more people than I call. This is going to be a fun chapter in my life. I’ve made several friends on the truck side with my 1953 Dodge semi tractor and trailer. It appears the car site is no different.
  5. I have a problem with people saying stupid things that are uneducated and I’m sure I will not be able to sit back and keep my mouth shut, so this is why I chose not to do Facebook. You can’t fix stupid.
  6. Still at my father-in-law’s a mile down the road. I will be getting it in two weeks. My shop is full right now. I’ll let you know when I have it in my possession.
  7. Anyway you could forward me that ad or a phone number
  8. Thank you. I never joined a cult with Facebook. I live in Wisconsin. Not terribly that far of a drive.
  9. Thank you very much. Interesting information
  10. How much does my 1928 four door sedan weigh??
  11. How fast will my 1928 car go down the highway?? As far as I can tell everything is original.
  12. I pm you to call me. I would like to purchase
  13. Looks like I will be spending more time on the car side. My father in law has been struggling with his vision and it sounds like it has become beyond repair. This morning he said he would like to give the car to my wife and I because he knows I will respect it and take care of it. I am going to do my best to get it rolling down the road this spring to give them several rides before it’s too late. I will be asking several foolish questions because I have had only dodge pilot houses since 1980, never a dodge car (except a 72 charger). This is going to be a fun chapter in my life. Todd B
  14. You could move it to my nice big heated shop in Wisconsin and I would be able to give you a hand whenever needed.
  15. I have never realized before that the 54 corner windows are longer than the B series
  16. I had to fly out to Arizona and drive my in laws car and trailer back to Wisconsin. I stopped at 11 different gas stations over 7 states and bought a poweball at each stop. No luck. But I am not giving up yet!!!!!!
  17. Found a girl along the road once. Picked her up and she was very useful until the next morning.
  18. Ouch!!!!! That was very painful to watch.
  19. I switched out 96 - 4’ light bulbs a month ago in my wood shop. We went with the ballast free bulbs. My ballast were 12 years old so I figured the ballast were going to be going next, lights are on 14 hour days, 6 days a week. My shop is incredibly bright now. I would not go with the 6500K bulb my opinion because it gives a bluish tint. I went with all 5000 K daylight bulbs.
  20. The photo of you sitting in the truck reminds me of that one from the brochures back in the late 40s talking about the extra room for a pilot house cabs. I’m sure one of you guys could post the one I’m talking about.
  21. I absolutely hate to agree, but, I think the Chiefs are going to win it also
