  1. Sniper, Thank you for posting this and for providing the download to the bulletin.
  2. Welcome. Very nice ride. I enjoy following you on YouTube.
  3. It doesn't matter if your car is a positive ground, if you put the red (+) lead of your meter to the (+) terminal of the battery and the (-) lead of your meter to the (-) terminal of the battery, you should read +6.25 volts. 6.25 volts is a reading of a good battery. Leave your test leads connected, start the engine and move the carb linkage to off-idle at about 1500 RPM and your meter should read about 7.10 volts +/- if your generator is charging the battery and the voltage regulator is set up correctly. The amp meter in the dash should be on the + side of zero at this higher RPM. Also, from looking at your photo of the engine bay, the heater duct from the back of the heater to the firewall is available. Someone who advertises in The Plymouth Bulletin is reproducing them for your car.
  4. Rhode Island Wiring and others have this wire you are looking for and also make wiring looms for our Mopars. Check them out on the internet.
  5. Also you might want to check with Vintage Power Wagons.
  6. I ripped this photo from a video on YouTube - 1958 Dodge D100 Sweptside. A Fargo may be different.
  7. Cruise control bugs me, too. I hate going "XX", +/- 0.001 MPH. It is an unnatural feeling. Plus, I don't care what "they" say, it uses more fuel. I like using the throttle to lose 3-4 MPH going up a slight grade and gaining 3-4 MPH going down the other side.
  8. I, too, am sorry to hear that you are selling your Dodge. Enjoyed the posts on it, too. I hope it turns out to be the right decision.
  9. Dodge Central of Michigan list one that fits '48 through '53. So, maybe the '54 & early '55 mirror only fits that model. ????
  10. If you are using a PC (Windows operating system), you can reduce the size of your photos in Paint.
  11. Wish you would send some of that cooler weather this way. We are still roasting !!!
  12. I guess I agree with Larry. The stem needs to be a bit taller.
  13. Is this for an Austin-Healey, MG, Triumph or ????
  14. Maybe not. I love it when I am driving down the interstate, in the right lane, someone passes me and cuts back in front of me only to take the next exit 1/4 mile up the road. I-D-I-O-T-S !!! Truckers need a huge horizontal, ten foot spinning saw blade running up to speed, mounted on the front of their rig. Sparks would fly !!!
  15. Harold, I didn't think about that. You are correct. The "PLYAD" would have been at the bottom of both lenses, so there would have been a left and a right.
  16. To my untrained eye, it "appears" that the slanted lens are for the Business coupe and the flat faced lens are for the Fastback. Most of the Suburban photos I saw on the internet showed a reflector in the center of a flat faced lens. The reflectors on the Business Coupes and Fastbacks were below the lens, in the chrome lens holder.
  17. Thanks everyone for the replies, and thank you to PT81Jan for the identification.
  18. Can anyone tell me the name of this wrench ?
  19. Ned, I have used radials on stock wheels on my car for about 16 years with no problems, but my tire store did provide a set of these valve stems for the oval stem holes. These also stop full wheel covers from walking.
  20. I didn't start collecting license plates until i got my Plymouth in 2002. Right now, i am trying to collect one Mississippi plate from every county (82). I grew up there and my car is from there. As mentioned earlier, the older plates are hard to find, and when you find them, they are pricey. And, I have a few plates from other states. It is a fun hobby.
