Thats a beautiful job ,the car loks fantastic...where can I get some old gangster clothes like that. looks pretty cool,if this pic was in blk/wht it would look like the day you bought it new.
  3. That first long trip is a little like the first time you have sex.Sure you get nervous and its a little scary but afterwards its great and you want to do it again.

Hey , I know that car ...how ya doin bob its DBM...from HR...
  7. keep in mind the newer replacement bulbs are 12v so if your running the 6v system you might want to go to raido shack and see their selection...Its been a while but some of these old cars have a pos + ground so check it out first just to be sure....threre are always high intensity LED bilbs ,they can be mounted in a scoket fairly easily too they use 3.2 v ea and draw less current
  8. You think thats a problem ? on a 40 ford they only come with one taillight the other is an option...when I saw this car I was scratching my head...
  9. I put coils in my 48 its really just brackets for the springs then you need linkages 4 link or what ever but its a lot easier to install a whole rear end in from something like a camero mine is an 89 camero rear,I just got done tearing it all out and putting air springs in inplace of the regular springs.the job isnt to hard if you can read a tape and weld..but its a waste to ruin a stock rearend plus if you want an upgrade a whole newer style rear is the way to go its half the work...
  10. Sorry,...I would really need The door for that one.The plymouth doors were pretty tricky when I made them, but that would be a challenge even with the door.Although,I do have a buddy down the road that has a d-24 .I'll go over and see what hes got for copying and get back to you...BTW ,thats a NICE dang car.
  11. heres a couple pics of an inner and outter rocker I made.48 ply....the first is the top where the floor pan is....second is the inner roocker... third is the inside.... both pieces are welded together...
  12. 46-48 would all be the same and if its just the bottom 12" all models are alike. That I can do....outbackcreations@aol.com
  13. That would be tuff I have no idea what they look like and nothing to copy from. I would need the original fender in front of me..then it would be no problem....un less you could make a paper templete ,it would have to be exact....they can be made with reinforced packing tape too just stick several layers on and trim everything off with a razor , untape and stick it to some paper then send it to me...
