very cool truck, Tim! it's always great to see a documention done well,
personally i'm not too good at it but my dad can calculate the cost of his 140 series volvo
to the very last cent over the last 45 years. lot's of work...
i was talking about that neat little glas bowl fuel filter Fred is installing.
already on the hunt in my stash, i must have one or two of those and forgot about them...
air cleaners from your dodge are cool, too, but we better stick to the plan
Fred, pulling the head is just a little step further if you're draining the coolant anyway,
and would give you the opportunity to check the valve seats and maybe do a quick regrind.
that sure made mine run a lot better when we put the triple intake on in 2010/11...

that looks like a great setup!
that carter filter is a beauty, too... you got me thinking

thanks for writing this down!
so, 242 degrees of duration and .380 lift on the 3/4 cam...
do you also have the intake and exhaust valves opening and closing degrees?
just curious...
i'll test drive this one for a while and see where it gets me.
but i have a feeling it will be wild enough for me
lots of traveling and very little racing on my schedule.

Hi all, thanks Tim and Fred for doing this!
It's true, i haven't been able to do computer things other than work recently,
but i'll start a thread over on the main board with lots of pictures as soon as it gets calmer here.
the engine is scheduled to arrive here on march 20th and i have lots of work to do before it arrives.
it isn't really hi-performance i guess, but it should drop some jaws once in a while, i hope.
can't wait to get my hands on it :-)
best from berlin,
Fred
