  10. Looks like the same one that was offered at the branson auction Sat. I went out for a minute and didn't see if it sold or how much.
  11. Remove the inner fender on passenger side ad you can take sidecovers off.
  12. In the 50,s canadian dodges had plymouth rearend an plymouth had dodge rearend. Maybe they did this with desoto and plymouth too. My brother has a picture of a 56 dodge with plymouth rearend that we saw in canada when we were young car nuts.
  13. As long as you can get the pan off it,s easy. You can loosen bearings and remove a cap and slide the old out off the crank put new in the same way. If you have access to valve grinder you can do the valves too. Take caps off pistons and push them up from below. Put on ring compressor and tap them down in clyinders. Be careful not to scratch journals with the rod bolts. I have done this several times.
  14. Harvey, be sure and check the amount of spines on the axles to be sure it will work.
  15. I found one but the axle splines were different. Used a 3:21 out of 73 Dodge picktp. Had to move the mounts a little but really made a differenc in driving.
  16. Bob T have you ever been to bbBrowns Auto Salvage at Cabool,Mo? You wouldn't believe the old cars and trucks he has in his yard.
  17. New issue of Old Cars Weekly has a 50 business coupe for sale in NJ 33,000 miles former museum piece.Looks great in picture. $8500 sounds like a good buy.
  18. Only had to move the spring mounts a little. Rearend I got didn't have brake drums so I bought new drums, wheel cylinders and return spring set. Have about $150 in it. brakes are bigger and easier to adjust. Universal was same size.
  19. I just put a 3.21 rearend out of 73 dodge pickup in my B4B. I have 235-75-15 radial tires. Runs and handles great. Now I can BUZZ down the road. Only trouble is I have no idea how fast I am buzzing because speedometer is so far off. Does anyone know if I could put speedometer gear out of any Dodge or Plymouth in my transmission?
