  1. Painting choices being made during body on restoration of D-24 Dodge Opal Gray color. Should the underside of the hood match the body color? Or does it match the inside of the trunk (which is a darker gray)? Black? Splashes of undercoating and 71 years of use make it too hard to determine what it was originally. Thanks
  2. Covering the area between the bumper and the body the top side is obviously the color of the body (opal gray in my case). What color should the underside be? Scraping seems to show possibly satin black as the fenders, possibly undercoated. Thanks, Alan E
  3. What color should the front inner fenders be on a 1948 Dodge? Appears that engine bay side is/was black. Was the outer side the body color or was it also black?
