    Who can tell me about these narrow sheet metal rails in lieu of running boards found on this '41 Plymouth. Did they have a name? Were they an option? Or was this just a mid-year transition away from running boards since they were altogether gone by the next year? (modified by Mod) parts solicitation not allowed on main forum posts)
