Thats what I thought, but, it does have a 25" head . Does that not mean it is possibly larger than the stock 236?

I have a 1948 DeSota Custom and was too it had a 265 cu in flat head. I can't find that they ever came with that size. It does have a 25" head and serial number on the engine starts with S11. What year would this be from . Thanks
