thanks, i just cant get it to start maybe i got some stuck valves ? rebuilt carb, turns over by hand, got spark just wont catch its doin my head in !

Sure could use some help ... are all the flatheads positive ground? i have a 1948 B1 ? my generator says 12 volt on it so assumed it is not 6 V ???
