hello, very nice restoration! I have a friend who has lots of parts for old cars, I live nearby and that's a plus for my Plymouth 1939! maybe he has what you are looking for https://www.cafr.ebay.ca/sch/vaainc73/m.html
hello, lately, and thanks to this forum i found the gaskets for my engine's head, T143, 25 inches long. It is a Canadian model which often differs from American engines. Is it a Canadian or an American car? maybe the number has been retyped?
thanks for the link, really appreciated.
I went back to the garage, cleaned the plate and the number is IAP-4102-1 but in the parts book there is no reference. Is it because the engine is a Canadian engine? from what I saw it is a T143 Fargo FM1 218ci. So I don't know part number for the vacuum advance.
Thank you
Hello everyone, I would like to identify the distributor on my engine (T143) in order to change the vacuum advance. This is not the original engine in my Plymouth P8 and I cannot find the correct part on the internet.
I don't see the first letter in xxx-4102-1
part number 123356xxx
thank you for your help
ok, so, if the hole exists on the gasket and not on the engine, it is not a problem (on the other hand the reverse poses a problem but it is not my case). Very interesting this discussion: P Thank you
Hello,
I just looked and it is in the same direction as the photo and in the game to find the errors, there is another hole in the gasket of the kit compared to mine.

Hello, first of all thank you for your information. I found a small difference between the gasket kit and the one that was on my engine. Is this difference important or the kit can still go on my engine? thanks again
Hello !
really great to have found the model in question so quickly!
I'll see if there are any other needs for me and I'll keep you posted! do you have an online store? thank you Maxime

Hello Mr Bee.
i have the same problem with my plymouth 1939 P8. I have my cable tramped in wd40, it works well 2 days then afterwards, it becomes very hard. I had not seen your post before but did you manage to repair your cable? thank you
Hello, I will attack the restoration of the seats of my P8 1939. Do you remember the dimensions of the fabric that you bought? is it canvas for the living room sofa?
The cotton below the fabric was eaten by the mice, did you put foam or did you find cotton? thank you nice work!
