    Stumped

    Thanks! The axle key and washer were missing on the left side. Really didn't think much of it at the time. Knew it was coming back apart for brake work. Guess I'll be taking the right side off again(and the left) to match the parts sooner then I thought. Love the get an old car quote! Grrrrrr

    Stumped

    Purchased a 51 Plymouth Cranbrook back late August. After a having got her to run after sitting since 1965 been pulling drums to inspect the drums,shoes, wheel cylinders for part list. Here's what has me totally stumped. I pulled the rear drums and inspected everything. Put the drums back on, bolted up the wheels. Put it into gear, let the clutch out and nothing. It's like it is still up on the jack stands. I've been driving it in and out of the garage every afternoon for a month so the boss can have her garage at night. Could the "pop"of the hub puller have broken or pulled something loose somewhere? Don't know what to try and look for. Definitely has me stumped.
