  1. Hey guys - im trying to locate a nos bezel for my ‘40 dodge coupe - it is part number 856630. Any help would be appreciated
  2. Hey all - I could use some help... I've installed an offy dual carb manifold on the 218 in my '40 Dodge coupe. I have a couple of rebuilt Stromburg BXVD-3 carbs installed, and I'm using Fenton split exhaust manifolds. When I crank the engine I'm getting fuel leaking from both carbs. I believe the bulk of the leaking is around the throttle shafts, but one carb is ending up with fuel on the underside for the bowl. (These carbs were supposed to have had new throttle shaft bushings installed.) My initial thought was that I'm getting too much fuel pressure to the carbs, but I have an Aeromotive regulator installed. The pressure is cranked down to 1.5 psi, and still I have fuel coming out. Also of note - this is the second set of carbs that I've had on the engine. I had a pair of rebuilt Holley 847s installed, and they were also leaking fuel. Starting to think something else is amiss, but not sure. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!!
  3. Oh i must confess - thats the floor of my buddies resto shop. Took it to him for all the sheetmetal and paint action. I've done all the mechanicals at my garage, which isnt nearly as nice - or spaceous
  4. Thanks guys! This one has 36k original - it sat in a barn from '62 till i got it in '98. I've had it stored since then until dragging it out a year ago to start the project. Unfortunately it was outside storage for about 3 years the paint on the firewall and door jambs was pretty decent, but the scan not so good.
  5. Hey all. Just joining up here - looks like a ton of knowledge among this group! Does anyone have a paint code for patrol blue in a base clear urethane? Im doing a frame off on my '40 dodge D14, and I'm not having much luck finding a good match. Ive tried having the remaining original paint scanned, but not getting very good matches any help would be most appreciated! regards jeff c
