  1. Great, thanks so much for the info, I have a pile of good 218’s motors, and trying to figure the most economical way to spruce something up.
  2. Does anyone know if it is possible to bore a 25” 218 block with a bore of 4 3/8” to 4 5/8”. Is there enough material without compromising the cylinder walls? Thanks for the help
  3. I used ECI dual master cylinder, I have disk front and drum rear. I installed a proportioning valve from summit racing. This also maintains pressure in the brake line and prevents the fluid from flowing backwards as the master cylinder is mounted lower than the breaks.
  4. I put one of their kits on my 49 Dodge special deluxe(Canadian car) and they sent me a list of parts that I needed. If you don't get a response i can dig up the parts list tonight, might be similar or a place to start. I replaced the Master cylinder to a dual one, mainly for safety. ECI sells a decent kit that mounts in the factory position.
  5. I get that this is a super old post but just in case you are still wondering, yes it does fit under the hood, I am currently running the dual carb setup from a 4 ton on my 49' Dodge Special Deluxe which is badge a Plymouth in the US.
