I have a Newport Engineering unit installed on my car and have no complaints at all. Install was easy and customer service was great when i called with a few questions.

Thanks for the advice! I already cut one too short. I’ll do it the way you recommended I just figured that the crimped side would have to go in the speedo. I’m hoping to get the old girl out and about this weekend as we are looking at almost 60 degrees.

Is anyone willing to pull their speedometer cable core (the part that actually spins) and measure it for me? Mine is missing and I found a cut to length kit but I’d like to know how long to cut it. My cars a 1950 Special Deluxe sedan with manual trans. Thanks in advance!

I am trying to put my engine back together after getting it back from the machine shop. I decided to check the oil pressure valve to make sure it wasn’t stuck. Unfortunatly it is and I have tried a hook pick screw drivers and even heat and an easy out. She’s stuck, does anyone have any advice?
