  2. Anybody need any 1954 Plymouth brake or suspension parts? I've a really good front end and rear end from SoCal that have had the brakes all rebuilt with new wheel cylinders and hoses. All adjusted properly and only 50 miles on them. Probably would fit 50-54 Plymouth with 10" brakes maybe some dodges. PM me if you need anything.

  3. Keith: I replied to your posting about attending the 2020 Hershey event this coming October. I have two vendor sites OAD7&8. So that is the orange field row OAD and site number 7&8. Let me know if you do attend and plan to stop by the site so we can talk. Rich Hartung Desoto1939@aol.com cell 484-431-8157 home 610-630-9188

  4. clay look up the gasket number in your parts book and let me know the mopar number. I will look in my McCord and Victor gasket catalog for a number. I knew someone else had asked about this same gasket and I was able to find a gasket number. Rich Hartung desoto1939@aol.com

  5. Clay. I posted the Miller MT19 on the Desoto facebook and listed the tool for $550. There isa person up near Levittown, Pa north of Philly and is close to me he is interested in the tool. So is the price of $550 good for you? I know we tried to get a higher price at Hershey, but at least you will get your investment money back on this deal. I left you a voice message on your company phone on Sunday night. Call me during the daytime on Monday cell 484-431-8157. Rich HArtung desoto1939@aol.com

  8. Your application of this overdrive, may well have driven down the price of a MOPAR OD. Does my sketch roughly represent what you did?

  10. Jon: I have been collecting automotive catalogs for the past 30 years to help with the restoration of my 39 Desoto. Some of my catalogs go back to the 1910 area and upto 1960. These are a great learning opportunity to know what components will work on my car and other owners cars and or trucks. I am in the process of trying to get a Wolert catalog. This company did a lot of OEM replacement parts for our cars and this one will go back into the 1930's. Thanks for the posting on the forum. If you would like a listing of my various catalogs send me your home email and I will send you a list. I have scanned these onto cds so the paper is not getting used. 11. I'm making very slow progress on a 1941 P-12, but don't have much time to work on it since I travel for work (field service for high voltage circuit breakers). Stopping by cruises and swap meets is providing some inspiration. It's great to find discussions and photos on line so I can feel a little more involved in my project while I am traveling! Over the summer of 2016, the car got a new clutch, exhaust manifold, and muffler. Prior to that were some issues with the fuel pump, an intermittent ignition switch, distributor, throttle linkage, and more. All part of keeping one of these vehicles on the road...

  12. RB, Even if you change the shoes instead of relining the ones you have, you shouldn't need to change the anchor bolt direction. The shoes are all made to the same specs, thus the mounting holes are all in the same place. There would be no need to re-center them on the backing plate. Unless, of course you a re a nit-picker, you will not notice the 1 or 2 thousandths difference. If you get crazy and ask for trouble, I have the Ammco 1725 tool that you can borrow to save your skin.
