You would not want me to moderate. All the whiners would be prohibited.3 points

I didn't want to embarrass you... but I used to do better burnouts on smooth concrete like that.... with my pedal tractor when I was still wet behind the ears.3 points

Hmm... Those skid marks don’t seem to match the tread pattern on the truck... ? Tire that left the mark had 4 rows of tread blocks. Your Fargo has 5.2 points

Today I tweaked my valve adjustment using the NOT running procedure discussed here many times. I believe it is available on the tech section. Engine is smooth and quiet ! During rebuild I did set these cold. Then in the car I did the Running method . Although I thought I managed this ok, the valves were still I bit noisy. Certainly recomend the non-running adjustment.1 point

I had have a whistle, starts about 45 and continues higher pitch and louder till 60. Doesn't happen when shifting manouvering at low speeds or with the windows up. Drove me nuts for about two months. In October of last year, I had to have my wedding ring cut off and resized, in October, I had some health issues and lost about 35 pounds. Now my ringer is to loose to stay on my finger so I started wearing it on my middle finger but it never felt right. I was rusteling around in my dresser drawer and found a ring that was my father's, it was a bit smaller so I started wearing it as a guard to keep the wedding ring from falling off. Now this all happened during the winter. Fast forward to spring , jump in the P-15, crank her up roll down the window and take off. Get up to cruising speed elbow goes up on the door, left hand goes out on the opened vent window, whistling starts . Slow down, pull over open hood rev engine no whistle, back in up to speed elbow out hand up whistle starts. So apparently with my hand on the vent window the air goes into the setting of the ring wistles around and exits through the hole under the setting.. Damed thing will even play a tune if I move the ring around and change speed. Now if only I had a chug for rythm, I could be a one Plymouth band...1 point

No - actually I am not. If I go clean out the old milk house there is probably still rubber laying in there under all the dirt and crap. Why has this devolved into this nonsense that has absolutely nothing to do with transmissions at all any more? I had no issues entertaining you a little bit when the questions had some technical content - but this nonsense about doing "burnouts" on smooth concrete is just that. If your self described "tired 228" could do a burnout - then why would it even be in question if a good condition 251 couldn't? Of course the obvious answer to that question is wish to bait someone into some sort of online confrontation. Not phased. Don't care. I think we've wrecked this thread enough. I wish the best of luck to the OP in figuring out his dilemmas with his A833 Pilothouse install. In the spirit of burnouts that don't prove anything, here is my diesel on 37s doing a baby burnout: Video Here1 point

I see nothing wrong with someone saying to pm me that they have what you need. This attempt in trying to separate the classifieds in my opinion is to strict.1 point

Rhode Island Wiring and YNZ Wiring both offer complete harnesses. They look correct and have all the correct connectors.1 point

Chug could be an exhaust leak, louder under load quiet at cruise, check the manifold to block gaskets. Have you recently had your intake exhaust manifoldmanifolds off or apart?1 point
